About the Book

Enter the world of Silverwolf, a ten year old Mohawk boy growing upon a modern reserve. Learn about him as Grandfather's tales of the Old Ones, and events in the community, begin to teach him about Native peoples and his own place in the world. The Authors

Robert Silverwolf spent his childhood on several Mohawk reserves in Canada and the U.S. He has had a lifelong dream of giving his story back to his people, while at the same time creating a cultural and personal understanding between Native and Non-Native youth.

Alison Deslauriers has spent twenty-five years writing and publishing both fiction and non-fiction. Her greatest project has been to create a work for and about North American Aboriginal youth.

Robert Silverwolf and Alison Deslauriers live in rural Ontario with their cats, goats, and visiting wildlife. Their hope is to continue the story of young Silverwolf as he develops to maturity.
