Praise for Being Fiction
"Here the Canadian short story takes a Borgesian turn into radiance. To open these covers is to know the naked pleasures of reading. John Moss gives us the radiance of the self transformed into lover and ascetic and writer; he surprises us with infinite turns of story, into understanding and laughter; he reminds us, with hardly a wink, of conjuring madness and conjured death."
   - Robert Kroetsch

On Enduring Dreams
" ... lyrical, evocative and yet passionately intellectual."
   - Lynda Hutcheon, author of the Canadian Postmodern

" ... a gripping narrative and a moving philosophical reflection."
   - Hugh Hood, author of The New Age

On Invisible Among the Ruins: Field Notes of a Canadian in Ireland:
" ... interesting ... thoughtful ... beyond definition."
   - The Toronto Star

" ... extraordinary ... marvelous."
   - The Globe and Mail

" ... may well become a cult book."
" ... a puzzlement ... leaves me breathless."

   - Books Ireland
